About the Work
Possibly one of 108 photographs Lubschez took of New York City for his 1927 photobook entitled 'Manhattan The Magical Island: one hundred and eight pictures of Manhattan with prelude and descriptive notes'. This image was likely taken at the Old Penn Station 1910-1963. It was titled 'Sunbeams' by the photographer in a publication dated 1921 (The Project Gutenberg EBook of Pictorial Photography in America 1921 by Pictorial Photographers of America; 2009; p.49)
