Description
A painting of a domestic scene with two women seated by a window. The older woman is wearing a black dress with white head covering and is seated in front of a spinning wheel operating it. The younger woman is wearing a yellow dress and holds a long blue scarf, she is looking towards the older woman while holding a book to read. There is a table with a green tablecloth beside her and a footstool beside her. The window has a burgundy coloured curtain draped at the left of the image.
