Description
Colour lithograph of an early view of the city titled "City of Wellington, N.Z", taken from a photograph by Archibald Willis. It shows a view down to the harbour, possibly from a hill in Khandallah or Johnsonville. A number of both sail and steam ships can be seen in the harbour, as well as the Rimutaka hills in the distance.
