About the Work
Philip Clairmont was an expressionist painter. Clairmont was influenced by the ‘psychedelic' culture which affected the way he approached art and the state of mind he preferred to be in while making his artwork. A trademark of his is the infusion of chaos and energy into everyday objects, such as a sink.

Description
Black and white graphic work showing a distorted almost animated sink with taps and drain pipe. Above the sink is a framed self-portrait of the artist with his surname 'CLAIRMONT' across the top of the frame. It could be a mirror reflecting the artist in front of the bathroom sink.
