Description
Series of 6 colour photographs mounted together with 3 images across, two images high. Image shows a small white vase containing a posy of black-eyed pansy flowers (mostly black and yelllow) on a rough black surface in front of a white wall, casting a shadow on the wall. In the second image the vase is joined with a black and white photograph of a Japanese woman, leaning against the wall. As the images progress a second posy is added to the grouping, first held in someone's fingers, then the additional pansies are placed around the image: leaning against the wall, obscuring the face in the Japanese photograph, and in the last image one flower is placed in each corner of the image.
