Framed and matted large portrait of a Māori woman in a white shirt with a red neck scarf. She has a checked blanket or cloak over her shoulders. She is facing the viewer with her head, shoulders and arms visible with her hands clasped in her lap partially out of the frame. She is wearing greenstone earrings. The background is white and green drapes.
