Description
Watercolour painting of St-Nicolaasplaats, a medieval courtyard in Antwerp, Belgium. On the left stands the water pump topped with a statue of Saint Nicholas (Sinterklaas), erected in 1707. Sint-Nicolaasgodshuis church can just be seen on the right. A lone woman occupies the courtyard.
