Description
Clinton River, Milford Track. Howorth images of the South Island were very popular with the public which lead him to reuse scenes multiple times. This work was created at a time when he was travelling around the country before he settled in Wanganui. It is characteristic of his most common scene - trees or bush frames the scene, with a atmospheric mountainous background.
