About the Work
Peryer manages to make inanimate objects animated and also makes the viewer stop to pause and consider what an object is or consider an alternative viewpoint. By playing with scale Peryer makes the ‘major minor’ and vice versa. Mundane details and surfaces take on new energy and the familiar becomes strange.
