Description
Paying homage to the everyday, the works embodies a sense of activity, of daily life and grind. Kitchen Sink was made in response to years living with flatmates; the gold archaeology of Burrell’s benchtop on close inspection reveals chicken bones, plastic bread tags and even ants helping to clean up the mess – all made from paint.
