ceramic and paint
Small ceramic tree with an owl on top at front. The trunk has a wood detail cut into putty coloured clay and covered in a brown wash which is darker in the depressions. The head of the tree is quite smooth with the suggestion of branches cut into it. It is covered in a shiny blue/green glaze with dark brown areas. The owl has wings which are spread to the back and it is sitting in a nest. The top of the wings have details cut into them and the underside has painted detail. There is a sticker on the bottom with "34" on it partially covering the hollow centre of the trunk. "**" is also present on the base.

Number 34 on the original Tactile Collection spreadsheet.
