Handwritten copy of a reference written by John Howell, Director at Wellington Technical College, dated 20 August 1930. The reference concerns Vivian Smith’s services as a teacher in the School of Art at Wellington Technical College and his classes at the Teacher's Training College. This copy appears to have been transcribed by Mary Smith.
