Description
Later edition of the original book that was published in 1890 in PHiladelphia. Decorative leather cover board with gold printed decoration and gold edged pages. Chromo lithograph plates. Titled 'Pronouncing Parallel Bible. The old and new versions in parallel columns, 3500 illustrations'. Containing the authorised and revised versions of the old and new testaments. Includes a complete concordance & comprehensive bible dictionary, illustrated history of each book of the bible, cities of the bible with descriptive scenes and events, parables of our Lord, Life of Christ, Lives of the Apostles and Life of the Evangelists plus many other aids. Near the centre are full colour pages for recording births, deaths, marriages etc, including the hand written record of Edith Collier's birth.
