Dear Edith,
I have not been to see Miss Aglipple [sic] yet, she is in the next ward. I am in No.7. ward. The Dr said wait a bit till it heals. They all say I will be boarded straight away & go by the next Hospital Ship. I suppose Harry will be up for the week end [sic] – will you both be up – lovely grounds here. Stacks of good tucker here will soon blow up. Lets [illeg.]
Bring my watch when you come Edith & a quid if you like.
