Dear Ed,
I’m home for a few days prior to having my examination or better known as a test. It should be at the end of the present [illegible] week probably Friday. I have been handling a machine alright – it is rather fine sport. Am anxious to get my test done with I am confident enough about going right through easily enough. I have read Reg’s + your letters – it has been a jolly meeting – my turn next that is [illegible] mean to have a jolly meeting – I’ll [illegible] more when I’m actually there eh? There is every indication that with luck I shall be due to leave soon. I’m surmising you know because it actually does seem close to the time. Au Revoir Edith till I meet you best love
Your affectate brother
Harry.
Write a longer letter when I’m through the test
