Dear Edith
How are you? Where is Harry? When are you coming up? & will you send me Reg’s address? We are jogging along here, do you know Philip is out? He went at the end of January. Isn’t it terribly anxious work always wondering how they are? I have a busy time with never a gasp, we have no handmaiden which makes it heavy at home. Poppie is coming to live in m/c [Manchester] which will be very nice. their house is about five miles from us in [illeg.] country.
Vira is being married in June – I suppose you will attend that wedding! Come & support me then we needn’t be fearful [smells?]. I’m dreading the ordeal.
Do write & tell me what you are doing – Its quite time you came for a chat!
Very much love
Fannie
