About the Work
TRANSCRIPTION:
all night with them you will know by now that Dad has bought a new [?] car he bought it the day after I went home on final leave so I learnt to drive it first as Vera was down at Maungaraupe & its only a shame what a smacking up it got when I was home for the fortnight
I went up to Masterton last Sunday on my Indian bike (which has come in very handy while in camp) to Carly’s, Muriel was their also with the baby girl, such a nice little thing it is, very much like Grandma. Mrs Carly does nothing but nurse it all day long. I enjoyed myself very much while there as Mrs, Ida & V Muriel are so lively but had a smash up on the bike
