Jim said in his letter to me that the OC. had been badly wounded.
I don’t care much as long as they get the cable put the right way round at home.
You will have to excuse writing as I can hardly see as the lights have gone wrong. We have been having rotten weather.
They are calling up all the mounteds [sic] here and sending them back to Egypt.
I am keeping out of the way as I stand a chance of the artillery. Well I will ring off & write tomorrow.
