About the Work
Dear Ed.
Very pleased As got your note and enclosing cheque for £ [illeg.] which I borrowed. I am waiting for my medical [illeg.] which is overdue if passed fit. The wing colonel has a job for me down at [?Hythe illeg.] as a pilot of machines on a gunnery [?course] that means to say I pilot a machine while another man fires at a flying target. Course you never know when these jobs are closed so possibly it may gone by when the board decides on me Love & kisses
