Dear Edie
Well you’re a nice one to go out, when I come up to see you. I have wanted to come up all this week but the weather has been so beastly until today.
Do you remember that you said you would like to go to Mrs Newcombe’s concert. Well, I had the tickets all ready, & then couldn’t find them anywhere. I was so sorry & you must have though it rude. When shall I see you. Come & see me tomorrow afternoon if you can. I have to go over to tennis about 4, but you can come with me.

Yours, Ethel.
