Dear Edith,
I thought I had told you in every letter when I had received anything from you as you say in your letter I received a few minutes ago I received box of sweets, medicine, biscuits, & sweets, the post note but cigarettes & last lot of sweets have not had time to come yet so don’t be afraid to send cake or anything, parcels generally take about 8-12 days.
I am glad Hal is alright again & having his leave
Pads this size as soon as you can. Jack has gone up the line did he write to you?
