About the Work
TRANSCIPTION:
I had a Bilious attack from Monday to Wednesday then when I came home on the following Monday I had another bilious attack on the following Sunday. They are such horrid things too. I am a whole fourteen years old on Tuesday. I feel quite grown up now. Every body seems to think I’m the image of you.
This morning (Saturday) I got up very late it was eight O’clock and I was sound asleep when Mum come in. She didn’t wake me but when I woke up myself they were all down [illeg.] breakfast. [illeg.] said to me was “I thought you were Edith in bed”. You just looked the very image of her. Every body in Wanganui seems to be knitting even I am. I am knitting a scarf for the soldiers. How are things over your way.
Harry is down at our place now. Reg has got Jack’s motor bike now and he often takes me for a ride behind him.
