Description
Letter typed on one side only with red printed letterhead from the Secretary of the Canterbury Society of Arts addressed to Edith Collier at Kawhia. Discussing the disappearance of about 8 pictures that were sent to Wanganui on the HMNZS Breeze (a coastal cargo boat) on April 20th but didn't arrive in Wanganui. The letter suggests making contact with S. Wright & Co. forwarding Agents in Wanganui to make enquiries. Below the typed text is a handwritten note in ink "About 8 pictures / Get hold of them will you" most likely written by Edith Collier.
