Description
From the series 'A Serious Violation of Tapu'.
Colour photograph showing two women standing in front of a wall. They are visible from the waist upwards and wearing only teatowels draped over their heads and upper chest, so that only their eyes are visible. They are balancing a white plate and an apple of each of their heads, and are looking directly at the photographer/viewer. The wall behind them is constructed of vertical wood panelling that is painted green with white near the right of the image. There is a vintage circular black lightswitch on the wall and some text written on the wall behind the figures, in red and black marker.
