Cobi Cockburn

Biography
ARTIST STATEMENT
The relationship that exists between an artist and their work relies on honesty.
Contemplation unveils that understanding.
Through shades of light, beyond colour, these works address my reality.
They echo emotion and speak of a silent bond,
distanced by time, of a space I’m unable to reach again.
The immediate intensity is gone...but the experiences remain
Understanding comes from these layers still felt, but no longer seen.
