Vivian Smith

Biography
Vivian Smith was born in Sheffield England and studied at the Royal College of Art in London where he studied mural and decorative painting, life drawing and portraiture. He emigrated to New Zealand in 1913 to teach art at Wellington Technical College and during his nineteen year tenure worked at various times with Harry Linley Richardson, Joseph Ellis, Roland Hipkins and Christopher Perkins.
