Description
Painting showing three figures (one man and two women) seated on the grass in an outdoor setting. At their feet are white crocus flowers growing above the grass. The man is wearing a hat with a feather, next to him on the ground is a rucksack and a gardening rake. The central woman figure is holding a tea cup and wearing thick gloves, the woman on the right has a woven basket on her back. All the figures are wearing warm outdoor clothes and solid boots. The women are wearing scarves covering their heads. Behind them is a landscape scene with bare trees to the left, and a tilled bare field and village in the distance visible between the trees. In the far distance are large hills and mountains covered in snow.
