About the Work
This work was part of the exhibition "Artist's Project No.1: Richard Killeen: Chance and Inevitability" first exhibited at the Auckland City Art Gallery in August 1982, which was delivered as a performance where the audience where invited to hang the works in which ever way they wanted. Killeen was not interested in the composition but more about the idea of bringing elements together. A small accompanying catalogue was produced. It was also shown at the Robert McDougall Art Gallery, Christchurch 14 June 1983 - 22 July 1983.
