Description
Multi coloured painting showing a landscape with two opposite hills. The one in the foreground has the silhouette of a monument on it (likely to be the cenotaph at Pukenamu Queens Park) while the far hill has the silhouette of a tall tower on it (likely to be the War Memorial shell rock tower on Durie Hill). The land between the two hills is brown with white linear markings that appear to spell "NUI". In the sky are two mountains with a crack between them (The fissure could represent the Whanganui River and the mountains could be Mount Taranaki on the left and Mount Tongairiro on the right). They appear to be in a speech bubble emerging from the far tower.
