About the Work
I
love
the
juxtaposition
between
these
two
equally
naff
products.
That
foam
is
hugely
nostalgic,
as
is
the
plastic
cane.
There's
something
very
satisfying
about
it
put
together
in
that
shape.

For me, it's walking that's a problem, so each of these works represents a step forward in terms of making able-bodied people think about mobility.
