About the Work
Butcher, with his partner Cobi Cockburn, was Tylee Cottage artist-in-resident mid 2011- early 2012. Coming from Australia they found the Winter particularly grey and this work is in part Butcher's responce to this new climate. The painting was sprayed with salt water to create the rust.
