Dear Edith
I was more pleased than I can say to have that wonderfully fine photo of Harry., The good lady that took it knows a thing or two about photography. Harry’s face is full of character & she has got it in instead of making him look like a tailors dummy! I wish you had a similar one of Reg. I’m sure you are proud of those boys we are all in love with Reg, he is so big & yet such a boy, & such a sweet refined soul too. Dont you think it is wonderful how little life at the front has changed him? Are you & Harry really coming for Xmas?
This week I finish at the Tree Trade [illeg.]. They have got a girl (of 35 or so) from the Ministry of [illeg.] who will of course go all day. She arrived today & I am to get her into her [illeg.] & then I leave. It is a good thing for it was fearfully inconvenient going there every day for 3 hours, I have been so rushed I could have sat down & wept. Now am going to have mornings for my own work so am in heaven. Of course I shall be poorer - but dont mind that. Much love
Fannie
