Dear Miss Collier,
I received your letter on Monday and was very pleased to know definitely that you are going to London in February. I think we had better book our berths through book. My Father is going to Dunedin this week & will find out if it is possible for us to book berths separately and yet have the same cabin. If we can’t do this, we shall send you the money and get you to book them in Wellington. As I don’t know when I am coming back, I shall not take a return ticket.
There are two of the N Z Shipping company’s boats leaving on dates that will suit us. The “Turakina” leaves on Feb 6th and arrives in London on March 20th. The “Remuera” leaves on March 6th and arrives on April 17th.
As the Summer Term at the Academy begins on April 28th, either of them will suit me.
Mrs Scherek is going to meet me when I arrive so she will look after both of us.
I’m so sorry that I didn’t meet your sister when she was in Dunedin. Was it at the Students Recital she heard me play?
I shall write to you again when we find out about the berths.
I remain
Yours sincerely
Mary Frazer
