Dear Mother & Father,
I have just come here to see cousins but they are out and, [illeg] it is mail day to-morrow. I am glad you like that sketch I did. Cousins have just come in they were told too late for dinner so have had to go out & I am waiting here for Rena,
I am writing this in their room. I bought a book for Thea & Bill I wanted them to take them out, but they had such a lot of other things I thought I had better send them out instead.
I am sending you a slip out of a letter from my teacher who is in Ireland.
Miss Bridson has been ill but she is alright again now. I went to her last night, she said
to me I cant understand why you should have given up your music when you are so clever I nearly fell off the chair & said do you really think so – of course I do she said haven’t I given you 2 hours instead of one because I am interested in you of course now I am sorry that I haven’t done the cello here all along but I really thought I was no good at it Miss B----- is great on Bach.
I can see Thea in [illeg] in future years it is the best place in London for musical students & you want to be young 16 – 24 they are most that age.
They are in again so good bye
Love to all from
Edith
