Dear Mother
Please excuse short note, I have been washing as I am going up to Uncle Freds tomorrow for Xmas, coming back on the 3rd Jan for those lecturers. I have just heard tonight that I got through all the Practical Teaching Examination subjects. I got excellent for 4 subjects & very good for rest so that is good. The lectures take about a month & then more exams. I had 20 things at the St Johns March Exhibition & the masters congratulated de Grey & I They hung my picture of Old Woman in the best place, so that wasn’t bad Miss Ayliffe I have going to share a studio 5£ a week, she is coming to MacPherson for lessons she is going back to Africa at the end of next year I am waiting very anxiously to hear about Harry I don’t suppose he will leave camp.
