Otakar Valasek
Biography
Born in Moravany Bohemia to Joseph and Frances Valasek. Emigrated to the United States at the age of 17 and studied at the Art Institute of Chicago. Was in commercial art advisory business, Chicago, 1914-1917. With Chicago Herald, August 1917-April 1918. Staff Committee on Public Information until end of the war.
