Drawing of Jesus Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane in Jerusalem, where he prayed the night before his crucifixion. Jesus is shown kneeling with a chalice on the ground in front of him. The angel before him has turned away. Three of the disciples can be seen sleeping in the left foreground. They are possibly Peter, James and John as described in Luke 22:39-46 and Matthew 26:36-46. A group of men can be seen through the trees on the far left.
