Description
Oil painting showing four older Maori woman sitting across the width of a porch on a weatherboard house, in front of the open front door. The kuia are wearing long skirts with scarves on their heads. One at the far left is smoking a cigarette and has bare feet while the kuia third from left is smoking a pipe, holding a walking cane and a woven kete. Their heads are down and looking towards each other in discussion.
