Joy
was
living
in
Whanganui
at
the

and
was
a
member
of
the
Whanganui
Arts
Society
as
well
as
the
NZ
Academy
of
Fine
Arts.
Shortly
after
this
painting
entered
the
collection
she
moved
from
Whanganui
to
Whangamata.
