Description
Black and white photograph showing the spectators at the races responding to the event. A woman at front left wearing a tweed jacket has both hands to her mouth in concern. The man standing next to her is wearing a suit with tie, has a pair of binoculars in his hand and has a dark goatee. Behind them are various men in the stepped stands with different expressions. They are wearing suit jackets or jerseys. From the artist's 'Race Day' portfolio which completed his Honours degree at the University of Canterbury.
