Painting of a faun's head with a scroll of text reading: "HYMN OF PAN". Below is some lettering that reads: "From the forest and highlands / We come we come / From the river-girt islands / Where loud waves are dumb / Listening to my sweet pipings". The text is derived from the first verse of a poem titled Hymn of Pan written by Percy Bysshe Shelley.
