Description
Drawings in black ink on paper. The drawing on the recto of the paper shows a seaside quay. A woman stands on the left hand side. On the right, two figures can be seen mooring a boat. The drawing is annotated: Comercio, Lisbon. The note possibly refers to Commerce Quay in Lisbon, Portugal. The drawing on the verso depicts an equestrian statue in a town square. It possibly represents the statue of King José I by Machado de Castro that stands in the Praça do Comércio in Lisbon. The drawing on the recto is in portrait format, while the drawing on the verso is in landscape format.
