Description
Drawings in black ink on paper. The drawing on the recto of the page depicts Russell in the Bay of Islands. In the foreground, two children play on the foreshore. The bay is filled with boats. An inscription along the bottom edge of the drawing reads: Russell. On the verso of the paper is a small study showing two figures climbing into a boat. The drawing on the recto is in landscape format, while the drawing on the verso is in portrait format.
