Description
Notebook with a red cover made by Lamley & Co, South Kensington. The notebook contains lecture notes and sketches by Vivian Smith. Headings include: Design (dated 10 July 1903); On Teaching Design (dated 17 July 1903); Early Growth of English Architecture (dated 14 July 1903); Figure Composition (dated 17 July 1903); Lecture by J J Cook ARCA (Hon) Headmaster of the Sheffield Technical School of Art (dated 12 May 1904); Notes on town planning after visit to exhibition at the Royal Academy Oct 15th 1910; Architecture (Extracts from Indigo Jones and Christopher Wren … 1893).

A series of sketches is located at the rear of the book, including drawings of a moa and parts of a moa skeleton.
