Description
a) Sketchbook containing drawings attributed to Lilian Smith. The sketches at the front of the book depict abstract designs, possibly intended for a bookplate. A drawing of a mountain dated 1940 appears at the back of the book.
b) Handwritten note written by Vivian Smith. The heading reads: Art / Pottery and Modelling. It concerns the tools and materials required and their cost.
c) Sheet of paper with a drawing of daffodils attributed to Lilian Smith. The drawing appears to have been transferred from another sheet of paper. Impressions from other drawings can be seen in raking light.
d) Sheet of paper with abstract designs attributed to Lilian Smith. The designs were possibly intended for a bookplate as "ex libris" has been written in several places on the page. The initials LIS have been written at the top of the page.
